This isn't a "car audio" question as such, more an observation of audio.
Did you know that if you're say listening to your ipod, and you make static electricity by rubbing your socks on the carpet, the headphones go crackly! And they don't stop until you zap something. I thought it was pretty neat, all except the zap part. Call me a newb/bored/child whatever, i liked it.

Yeah i've noticed this too. Got worse in winter too..i get zapped through my headphones and it hurts somtimes.

hows the static you get when listening to AM :redface: when driving near a tram?? public transport causes cancer....

Hahaha my company car only has AM and its bad because as soon as I go near anything powered its stuffed.
