im in the process of colout coding the bits on my car, and anyway i want to find out if any of the TF colours carried over to the TL, i've talked to heaps of pannel beaters and no one is keen to paint my handles but know you can buy TL handles colour coded already, my car is over there on the left, i think it's KASHMIR but not sure.... any help tips ideas?

oops i ment TJ colours, well with the help of yahoo i have found that kashmir was avalible on the TJ and TL anyone know if it's still the same colour... sounds stupid but sometime the name stays the same but the shade is slightly different.... mitsubishi stocks the colour coded handles about $50 a piece... not bad considering no one wants to paint mine... i'll just have to see if they can be fitted to a TJ, i know they dont have a passenger side key hole, so i'll see if they still fit

Yep, as far as TF to TJ/TL is concerned, kashmir is the only colour to be carried over (due to being the most popular colour in TF). It was actually the only colour to last the entire 3rd gen range from '96 to '05.

Most other colours, inc:

>sienna red
>mawson white
>sable
>pewter
>burra
>daintree
>riversand

were carried over to TJ from TH.

Edit: sorry there was also a pearl white colour ("cocoon") that was introduced in TF and went through to TJ series 1.
