I was driving home tonight and stoped at a mates house, then went to drive home

but the parkers and high beams are working fine
I checked the fuses, blubs, etc and all seem ok
if any could help it would be great
Thanks

hmmm.....did you try using a hammer on them and giving them a tap? lol na dont do that!
maybe just double checking the fuses again...that would be my first guess along with double checking and maybe replacing the globes... even just try putting another set of H4's in from someone elses car just to check.
if its not those two...well maybe something to do with the wiring?
good luck man. let us know on your conclusion.

Your headlight relay may have blown. Have a look in the fuse box under the bonnet.

I fitted new blubs plus
new fuse in engine bay fuse holder
they are working again but taking about 5 to 10 seconds turn on
thinking its wiring or bad earth

Sounds like it. Even double check the headlight relay anyway, they are known to cause problems.
