Hi,

my next service is coming up and I was wondering what garages charge for a service. I bought this car a couple of months ago from North Shore Mitsi. I've always done my own oil changes and services before on my other cars but this time, i think i may have to get it done by the book to avoid negating the warranty.

I was told by the dealers that the car should be still under the 5 year warranty because it was first registered in October 2005 (something about a cut off date) but i can't see anything to confirm this. I have read in other posts and know the warranty issue is quite contentious but if it's all BS and I'm not covered, then I would just go ahead and do my own oil changes etc.

So, roughly, what should i be paying for a authorised garage to do my servicing and stamp the log book? any ideas?
