i finally got the h/u working - with the antenna :D

anyway - if i was to purchase some 2-way splits - they all come with tweeters i noticed - any of them DONT come with tweeters? as unless i can replace the 1.5 inch stockies in the same spot - i dont really want to pay for the extra ones that i wont use.

any ideas?

All splits come with tweeters..
that's why they're splits.

Just buy the woofer if you dont want splits.

what stockies? if you want new speakers just buy some woofers. the only thing that makes them splits is because they come with a set of tweeters and a crossover.
i.e the frequencies are split into the high range tweeter and the low range woofer by the crossover.

you can always just get some 2 or 3 way speakers to fit - don't have to be splits

i understand the idea of a split system. i just though there might be some on the market, which will replace my stock tweeters for the better in their original locations ?!

i want splits to make the sound clearer and have a bit more 'oomph' than the stockies.

You can replace the tweeters...but if you're doing that you might as well replace the whole lot.

in the stock location for tj's - they're attached to the black part that sticks out when your window (front) is all the way down.

what spec do u have? It can't be too stock for all TJs cause my 2000 VRX don't have 'em. I know the series 2 do though

EVERY TJ 2002 - that i saw Series 1 (mine) OR 2 - had the tweeters
