Just a quick questions to the boffins, I have just procured 2 kx600.1 monoblocks (KICKER) and have 2 CVR subs. now the powers been split and separate amps have separate earths.
RCA;s are from the HU to one of the amps and the other is connected via the kicker supplied "Stapping Cable".

the question is should these amps be working indapendantly because at the moment they're both (subs) are driving; the problem is only one of the sets of gain and fX are working.

Is this the way it should work, or should i be able to set each sub individually and both sets of controls working?

what i request is answers and possible fixes if this, if this is not a positive thing please let me know how to recify.

hmmmm might be able to help you out with your problem. cant seem to find much info on the web but does this amp have a set of pass through RCA's? if not then you are going to have to get a "Y" bit i think thats what there called  it looks like your normal RCA cable but the two plugs that come from your amp then go into one cable with a female end which should then plug into the RCA coming from your deck. Here's a link that should give you an idea of what im on about http://www.aerpro.com.au/list.php then click on car audio leads and the product number is AP322A. hope this helps

when you strap amps one becomes the "master" and one the "slave" the master is the one that you control your gain, bass bosst etc.. from, so the one that the strap plugged into the "in" port is the master

You wouldnt want different eq/effects for each sub, you want them both receiving the same signal. If you want to use seperate adjustments on each amp use RCA splitters splitting the main rca lead into two rca leads. (will not effect signal strength)
