Hi guys,
I have been reading through all the digi-dash info and am thinking about giving it a go. I am basically going to "add" the wiring and leave the old plugs behind in case I screw somthing or in case I want to go back to the analog pack sometime.
I was reading that the resistor for when the car is turned on for the brake fail light blows if the wiring for that is hooked up. Has anyone overcome this?
Cheers,
Nathan

Thanks, I started it today and all seems well.
Did you add an earth wire for the fuel sender?

no... i never got the fuel sender working before i wrote it off. i had a wagon so it wasn't as easy as dropping the digi sender in the tank.... i had all the mods done to it and was ready to go in and the council watered the road and i found a guard rail.
u will love it, i never thought i'd like a digi dash, but work got an echo with 1 and it was great, so i jumped at it when i could get 1 in my beast. the best invested 2.5 hours i put into that car. the other best hours were "put in" in the car ;) ;) lol god i miss having a wagon

I don't see anything stoppinf you, but having the whole car it came out of would be handy if your the first to do it...
get me on msn if ya wanna have a chat about it... i'm in melbourne at the moment and wont be back until next week sometime.
just off topic, car overheated in the melbourne cbd... after hauling a trailer 900km from adelaide to melbourne. still yet to go to sydney then back home.
anyone one wanna place bets to if my car will make this 3000km trip?? lol

Thanks for all your tips guys :)
It's all done, everything seems to have worked out. I have no idea about the resistor issue, but it seemed to have worked for me.
I will write something up on the MME soon with pics of the job!
Sucks about your wagon buddy, that would sh*t me.
As for BCX7 - it'll make it, she's a Magna, she's tough!
Cheers,
C02.
