ADR 24
The function of this Australian Design Rule is to specify requirements for tyres and 'Rims' appropriate to vehicle load capacity, 'Rim' size and speed characteristics.
This rule will cease to have effect from 1 January 2005.

maybe i should have put that adr thing after the pdf... thats the info on the site, the pdf is current... the adr must have changed but i cant be bothered looking for the replacment

Interesting... (from page 20 of the pdf linked above)
"The original relationship between the front and rear suspension heights must not be changed and therefore the front and rear suspensions must be both raised or both lowered by the same amount"
I think that means anyone with SL/L front/rear suspension setup is illegal. Good to know, I guess.

Well you're not allowed to go lower than 30mm i was told, which there are only 1 set under that limit. So if you were to go lower with one end than it would be illegal anyway.

My lows are probably about 35mm lower than stock and the place I got them done said they were perfectly legal. He would do superlows, but told me it would be illegal.
I think the two main restrictions are 100mm ground clearance and the 2/3 regular suspension travel (which means that your modified suspension has to retain at least 2/3 of the original travel). Other than those, and what I mentioned about the same front and back, the mm drop doesn't have anything to do with it.
