Hi guys, I've got a friend selling his 1995 TS V6 Executive manual, which already has a new clutch put in. The gearbox itself feels very good too, and certainly seems to have plenty of life left. It's been a great car for him, and I'm considering buying it, as I really like having a manual V6. However, as most of us who have been in TR/TS execs would know, the interior is a bit sp****, especially when compared to Veradas of the same model, or even the SE.

Therefore, I'm speculating buying a KS Verada xi (there is one that I'm eyeing), and converting that into a manual, using the gearbox from the V6 exec as the 'donor car'.

For those of you who have done this, is this possible and what price would I be looking at for labour (Brisbane -- any recommended mechanics)? Given that both the TS and the KS are roadworthy vehicles, are there any parts that have to be custom-made or ordered additionally? Or is it possible to turn the Verada into a 5-speed, and shove the auto tranny into the TS, so that both cars still run?

Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks very much
Justin

The Best Way(and EASIEST,by far)Is to just gut out the interior of Both Cars, and Put the Verada interior into the Exec.and Exec interior into the Verada,or Just go Interior Hunting at Your local Wreckers :)
The Conversion would be the Hard way of doing things, that's all :)
