Bit the bullet and got myself a High Flowed TB, fitted it this morning and the car idle's fine but as soon as it comes off idle after a rev the car misses and splutters  . Infact it is undrivable. Any else had similar trouble after fitting a High Flowed TB???
I have reset the ecu by disconnecting the batt.

Found the problem. The gasket that separtates the air bypass and coolant in the base the TB has a piece missing out of it  there by allowing the coolant to seep into the IAC chamber thence into the air intake causing the hassles. Just hope that Mits have replacement gaskets :doubt: .

Gasket Goo. Your 8 dollar EVERY gasket :D
I just assembled my whole intake side with it.

Not sure whether to use RTV silicon blue as the rubber gasket is rather small. But might give it a go. I will make sure to pressure test it though before I refit it.

There's no need to remove the bottom housing from the TB when flowing it, just use a strip of masking tape in the TB and bluetack to bog up the rear holes. The gaskets are avail thru mitsu. Couple of bucks. Please don't use gasket gunk! Speedway guys used to do this until they started ingesting lumps of it as it gave up the ghost.
