On the way home from work last night I spotted a Verada with tail lights the same as a Diamante.
I popped the boot, thinking that maybe my tail lights had blown as my tail lights only light up the rear lights, not the garnish section.
Take a look at these pics.

How did this guy have these tail lights.
It was a KR Xi.
Installed himself?
Because there is a section in the boot that can be popped out, where tail lights can be replaced for the actual garnish section, but there was no wiring or anything on mine.

I have done this on my KR Verada. Looks very classy when done. You will need to get 4 light mounts to hold park/brake globes and rewire them. If you look at your rear garnish there is a housing you can unbolt but there will be no light mount there. Mount 1 in each and rewire to your tail lights. Then the other 2 remove the inner globe mounts and put in the new ones to suit parker/brake globes. these can be obtain on any magna/verada tail lights at the wreckers.

In total when wired up 6 will light up on park and brake when applied. Hope it makes sense.

I have seen a couple of SIGMA rear garnishes instead of MITSUBISHI also. One unique one too with SIGMA and gold indicator lense on the garnish.

on the TR Elite garnish i had for sale there were two big boxs in the back of it that were there to put lights into it. it wouldnt be hard to mount a globe in each side for either parker, brakes, or both!


RXCORP: could you post pics on your rear garnish? i didnt think light would shine throught the KR garnish. what would you think a KR wagon garish would look like with a few lights in it?
