A mate of mine just bent the driver's side front quarter panel on his TF Exec, so am just wanting some info to pass on to him;
1. Thanks to a post by Asylum which featured some diagrams, I'm guessing it's just held on by a few bolts around the place? Anything else that needs to be known to get the panel off and on? Does the inner part need to come out as well?
2. How much would he be looking at for a replacement from a wreckers? His car is white, so should be fairly easy to find.
3. The right corner of his bumper is dented in, this should pop out reasonably well, correct?
Replacement should easy to find and is easy to put on - just a few bolts.
The bumper however, will not just 'pop' out as the plastic would have been streched and will never be smoth again.

If it's just under the headlight, theres a metal bracket behind that bends very easily. Once you take the bar off and straighten that it should sit pretty well, mine only sits about 2mm wrong under the headlight (although its a TL). My bumper flexed in about 15 cms when I hit a baby roo, so unless you cracked the paint on the bumper or its dinted in it should look alright.

He's not too concerned about the looks, so getting the bumper roughly back into shape and giving it a spray should do him fine. He's a tradie, so he gives it a bit of abuse:shhhh:
Oh, another thing, are the quarter panels on the TE-F-J the same? I'm guessing TL is different due to the new lights, but not sure of the differences with the others.
TE-F-H would definately be the same, TJ may be different, TL majorly different.

pop the dent out, if its creased try running a warm heatgun over the spot
maybe try from behind too - heat can help shrink the stretched plastic
