Started this thread to mirror "Magna Mods" and provide info to owners looking to match the handling with some real poke.
Since this model is fairly recent I haven't found much on the web re exhaust, chipping and intake yet. Body addons and kits are another area. Wheel/tyre combos...
As others have said, getting 190+ out of 3.8 litres shouldn't be too difficult.
So can we post actual mods available - not "vapourware" - with the link, source and State where available.

pretty sure this is the case after reading some old threads in the 380 section!!

Anyone know of a workshop on the Brisbane southside that specialises in Mitsubishi 3.5 V6 (as opposed to Lancer EVO) ?
Wondering where Black Beard is getting his TT setup...

the parts going onto blackbeards car are a hybrid of RPW parts, and custom parts.

As narkus stated.. Black Beards parts are a hybrid of RPWs n other custom stuff!
101 Motorcafe is doing his work.. He's gettin a lil edgy about it because it's taking a while.. But that's because some of the stuff wasn't "bolt-on" as such.. but all of the work i've seen them do is gold! PIGS13 and PIGS14 - Same owner.. All mechanical work done by 101 and they're nuts machines!
They do alot of custom work as well.. If they can't get it.. They'll fabricate it!
They're on Judds St in Slacks Creek.. If you do go there.. Lemme know.. I'll ring up the owner and give him a heads up! He'll take care of ya.. Top bloke.. Some may differ.. But he's definitely a top bloke!

Also try Bob Romanos. They have a great deal of Magna experience and I'm sure would do a good job with the 380.

Last time i went there, I got the impression they didn't really want to work on my magna.

Nah most places dont like to work on magnas, because not a lot of peeps want to get there magnas modded. Even when i went to get my high flow stainless steel Cat installed they looked at me like i was driving a hyundai excel,

If mechanics give me attitude about modding a magna or give me weird looks, i would walk straight out again, after saying that someone else would want my money more....

Well, I talked to the dealer again about a "factory lowering kit" and found out it was BS. It was an aftermarket conversion. Once my car is properly run in I'm keen on doing this as I've seen two examples and it really accentuates the car's looks and apparently helps the handling.

Put some 19s on as well!:D
Just my opinion, but whilst I like the series 2 17s (GT wheels), they don't really suit what the VRX is supposed to be, if that makes sense. They're more luxury-car wheels than for a sportier variant.

Well funny you should say that.
As I was posting in the "Post Your Ride" thread where ur not supposed to post words  I was comparing the VRX wheels on the Series 1 and admit they look sportier. Still, I'm not complaining.

:bowrofl: I was half kidding cause of the original edit by one of the mods. They seem really anal about it. Anywho, I'm a bit biased, but I like ROH Fury's, pretty sure they don't come in 19's tho. I think ROH Vapour look good and come in 19's.

Pedders came out fairly early on after the 380's release and marketed a lowering kit for them. They use Lovells springs and not exactly sure on the ammount of lowering but it looks to be about 2in. The dealer took my car to a Pedders shop over the road from him and did mine before I picked it up.
Didnt void the warranty.
After posting pics most people on here said mine should be even lower but any lower and mine would become impractical due to the slope of my driveway.

Do you need to take speed bumps at an angle?
