you cannot use them on the road, unless your car is registered as a 2 seater, you shouldnt have them unless you have a roll cage for safety reasons. And when mounting them you cannot put them through the seat and then on an angle more then 45 degree's optimal angle is 0

Widowmaker is 100% correct, do not use them unles there is a cage installed, if you roll and the roof comes in you go with it.
If you mount them at more than 46 deg and you have an accident you will end up with a compressed spine and in a wheel chair
