hey all, just wanna know of any tires that will give my vrx some god dam grip!!
i love my car, but being front wheel drive, gettting the thing moving without wheel spin is a real task, does anyone have any suggestions?:rant:

im running 18s on my car, with 245 tyres.
GOODYEAR RevSpec RS-03's, very good tyre:D

dont dump the clutch in 1st and u should be alright ... its really not that hard to launch a standard magna ... throttle control...
havnt really found a difference from tyre quality when i launch but tyre width made a difference i found

Not everyone has a budget to cover ADR approved slicks though :cool:
its really not that hard to launch a standard magna ... throttle control...

Yokohama make some good tyres. My last ones were A539's. Very good but they don't make them anymore. I'm running C-Drives now, which are a step up. 235/45R17 for $270 each. Not cheap, but they're pretty good. Two things you shouldn't skimp on, tyres and brakes.

Out of interest, my slicks are free and I still use 185 secondhand jobbies on the road. There is no need for that extra grip.

Hey have a look at getting an anti-lift kit installed, this will stop the front end lifting off when the right foot hits the deck. I found it made a good diffrence, especially when taking off uphill, or when crossing traffic lights and the front end gets light through the intersection. However good tyers still make a good difference.
