i'm wondering if someone can let me know where I can pickup a single slot grille (letterbox slot style) for a TF. (preferably in SA) I've tried a couple times on several grilles but my fibreglassing skills r sh!te. Also where I can a front chin spoiler. I've done a search on the threads, but i've got to wade thru sh*tloads of threads. Can anyone help me. :doubt:

just use lots of bog, itll dry eventually. if you put it all in properly, and then while still moist start to shape it (so you dont have as much to sand), and then sand it should be easier.

its dodgier, but easier.

ja....how i did mine was fill in the major gaps with fibregladd filler, wait for it to dry, then use and angle griner to get it even, fill with bog, and sand sand sand, keep bogging all the holes up and keep sanding....you should be alright with that method mate

have one te-tf chrome grill at the moment but never fear a new shipment of second hand parts ( which the contents will remain quiet till its landed and safe ) is due in about 2 1/2- 3 weeks and i have at least 3 more coming,

i have fitted grille's to ralliartgal's car, eaglerock18's car, kirky's car etc, all users on here but if you check the qld section there should be photo's of ralliartgals wagon with the chrome grill fitted

Hey, if you come across a factory body coloured (Arctic Blue) grill for a TE-TH, could you let me know? I have a KH grill as my back up plan depending on which looks better.

Finally got the single slt grille to look schmick, ur right, u have to be patient with the fglass & careful with the bog, spray on fill helps rather than the spread on bog, and black mesh. Anyway i think ive got it down pat. I'll post photos soon. If there's enough interest I could do more of them (SA based). Im always looking for a neat front slot. :D
