Hey guys, i'm buying Lovell superlows soon and i have 18s with 235/40s.
The question is, will they scrape?????

you wont have too many problems, any scrapeage would be against the plastic guards.. which you can bend back or remove.

enjoy

lovel superlows were 50mm last time i checked and king super lows were 60mm.

I do know that Lovell are superlows all round, kings are superlow fronts and low backs..

Kings lows are 45mm. So if you were to max out on kings, you'd be going 60mm drop at the front and 45mm drop at the back.
With lovells its a 50mm drop all round (99% sure it's 50mm).

Yeah i think 50mm will be enough for me..

otherwise it'll look way off.. i like a level look, instead of a raised *** look.

How would the ride/handling of a set of Lovell Superlows compare to the typical Kings Superlow/Low combo?

From what i've been told, keeping the car level (ie. balanced the same ratio it was from factory) will yield better results than lowering the front more than the back. I'm not a mechanic/engineer so i don't understand completely why, but it has something to do with the cars dynamics etc.

i dont know why ppl do that ...

ppl seem to wanna lower the front of the car more to match the gap between the front whel and guard to the rear..

doing this make the car look front heavy,

my super lows have been compressed way waaaaaay more at the back than at the front to match the actual heaight at each end..not taking wheel to arch gap into consideration.

plus i dont know why u would put softer springs on the back and lower on the front, would throw out the balance of the car when turning would it ? .. unless all springs where the same stiffness?

That's a good point come to think of it, but I was more after the ride/handling of the specific springs/overall if you know what I mean.

I'm looking at lowering my VR-X in the next few months, but when I do I'd like to get the springs with the best overall ride quality. Was curious to how similar Lovell and King springs would compare.
