hey i have a 96 te altera and i was wondering what is the capacity of the petrol tank including its reserve. thanks

It should be in your owners manual. But I'd a feeling all V6 magnas had a 72L tank.

it should be 70L give or take 1-2.

Hey Choonga whats the fuel usage like since your 5speed conversion.. Also at 100kays i am assuming the rpm has dropped in 5th. Sorry off the topic.. But yeah.

Its 72, but even when i let mine run stupidly low like the lights been on solid for 100k i can still only get 65~ in there...

Yeh when the light first comes on for me i'm at about 58 litres. lowest i've had it is at 67. Didn't want to risk it any further though :P.

one time ash3 decided to fill me tank up with mobil synergy 8000... 72.3L of fuel we put in.. LOL.. it was that low.. as in.. i couldn't even drive using petrol.. (i have dual fuel so i was using LPG)
/me thinks i need to change my fuel filter

I get 500Km then im sitting on empty, warning light on since about 425Km.
Still only takes 50-52L
WTF???
