Help needed for a newbie. I just got a 98 TF Solara from an auction and I'm really happy with it. However it didn't have a spare set of keys. Can you learned gentlemen tell me what the key code looks like as there is a mysterious 4 digit number written in the handbook on the same page as the radio code. If this doesn't pan out, any advice on how I might go about getting this info will be appreciated along with the best options for getting a spare key and keyless remote.

get the replacement keys from your mistu dealer, just give the spare parts department the vin number, and keys will be ordered and will come already cut! the service dept will need to code the key/s afterwards though! 65 bucks for key and 25 or so bucks to code it, from memory! remotes can be coded by yourself, no dealer computer needed
