hey guys i have a th with the high mount stop light on the top of the windscreen, tonight i noticed that when i have my lights on my high mount comes on dull like if it was a park light and becomes brighter when i put my foot on brakes, im thinking maybe a short any1 had this prob before

Isn't this called rear driving light? Doesn't this happen with every car this past century? IDK

Ment to be like that, havn't you ever noticed other cars brake lighst get brighter at night when they use the brake?

its my hight mount brake light, u know the 1 on top of the rear window

So it's doing the same as the tail lights? Is it stock? If not, my guess is wired up with other tail lights wrongly

yer its stock i noticed it when i hooked up my frosted tail lights i thought maybe they were the fault but i put the stock 1s back in still did it

Check the earthing of your other tail lights.
It sounds as though their earths are not goog and they are earthing through the stop light filiaments to the high mount which apparently has a good earth.

high mount shouldn't come on until brakes are pressed. I'd say it's been wired up wrong or like someone else said, has a bad earth.

Am I right in saying this is happening even with your headlights off? If so, I'd check that you havn't crimped a wire whilst installing your new tail lights. The power line to the brake lights may be picking up some induced current from somewhere.
It's near impossible they are wired up wrong. The high level brake lights globes don't have dual filaments.
