Hi,
I need assistance with interpreting circuit diagrams in the TR/S workshop manual. There is a particular symbol commonly used on a lot of the diagrams and for the life of me, I cannot work out what it’s referencing.

I have attached an example of what I'm having trouble with. The attached pic is an extract from the diagram on Page “54-3D-84”. (for those of you playing at home) See the horizontal R-G line which breaks away from the vertical line, it suddenly terminates with an ‘upside down triangle with a C’ in it.
What do these upside down triangles mean and what are they referencing???

Thanks

Check to see if it isnt just a reference to another diagram???

The upside down triangle usually means earth, or negative. The TR/S, however, use negative as a control and earth. It could also be a pointer to a connection on another page. I cant see much from your pix but if you want to email me the page I can probably help. I have the gregory's manual at home so I'll look at it tonight. My email is john.sharples@aapt.net.au. I'm an electronics tech and glad to help with electrical problems.

Earth or negative is an upside triangle but it also has a couple of horizontal lines through it. (as you probably know) What the previous contributers have said about it being a pointer to the next diagram is right. It all makes sense now! Thanks for your offer though.
