Last night car started then died. After repeated attempts finally got her to run.

This morning same scenario.

Did a search on this forum and found thread(s) relating to faulty immobiliser to ignition barrel connector.

Ten minutes with a screwdriver some WD40 and a zip tie (To tie up connector and hopefully stop any movement in the future) problem solved.

Thanks to the guys who published the solution to this problem.

Easy fix and saved me a weekend of frustration.

So what exactly did you do? I saw the other post, I had the same problem.

Took off bottom panel .

Unplugged connecter.

Sprayed with WD40

Reconnected and zip tied to main wiring loom.

Spoke to local Mitsi dealer today.

They have had heaps with this problem over the years

Their solution is to cut out connector and solder wires together.

Booked in car for wednesday to have this done.
