Ok, so what i want is some info on what clearances your cars have that you have lowered. Pics too.. I'm wanting to use Lovell superlow's but I'm not sure how low superlow will take it. Thanks.

Yeah pity that's all about 3rd gens and I want to SEE how low the springs will take it.. no offence but --> :gtfo:

Anyone with side on pics of their rides or even explain what they have and if they bottom-out easy or have to take speed bumps low-rider style (one wheel at a time).

Also when getting my shocks and getting superlow's i'll have to get them revalved wont I? Come on! someone!

mine with superlows in the front

In the back i do have the 50kg+ sub box and amps and extra wood and stuff so it weights it down a tiny bit more.
i have the KYB's all round and yes you do have to take it easy over speed bumps etc even with hard as shocks...it just still bounces enough to bottom out, expecially on steep driveways.....ive always taken steep driveways slow and even with the nudgebar i havent scraped a single one yet!:D

I had dobinson low's in my 1st gen and my exhaust used to scrape on everything! Supers on the front of yours look v.nice no picks of the rear?

You can only get superlows for the front and lows for the rears can't you (of any brand)? Anyone know why this is?

Also how much where your shocks and springs?

I paid $590 for them all, so i guess about $100 for fronts, $100 for rears, and a tad under $100 for each shockie.........

afaik, yeah they only make superlows for the front, but im sure getting your rears compressed will sort out that little issue...

By the way.....with more then 2 people in the car (i.e people in the rear) the car really sits *** low at the back, im talking the wheel arch is sitting about an inch over the edge of the rim..........thats why im happy with how low it is;)

Mate, where did you get your springs and shocks from? I've been given prices like $800 for shocks and springs which i'm not really comfortable with but $600 sounds more like it.

i payed $600 all up from a suspension shop (not pedders - they wanted to charge me $1200) for kyb shocks, and kings superlows on the front, lows on the back...fitted them myself with a mate

im not the best person to ask about bottoming out issues - im still riding on stock 14" rims haha. she doesnt scrape much tho, just gotta take speedbumps and sharp grade changes slowly

I payed $480 for a 2" drop on Lovell superlows and koni shocks... ill get some new pics up soon, but yeah, you've deffinatly gotta take it easier on the lumpy bit of the road, on flat road its a pleasure to have, much nicer drive, handles great and braking also improves ive found...but ive got 18" x 8" wheels and the only issue with mine is that it comes about 1cm from scrubbing on full lock...lol manifesto, oh yeah! rollin on 14's, lol have u ever bottomed those out?
