Hi

As the thread starts "TJ Wagon Cargo Blind (not barrier)" I am currently adapting a VX Commodore wagon blind to my TJII Wagon (cause finding a TJ Blind is nearly impossible.)

Could some kind sole post a pic(s) of how the TJ Blind attaches to the the body of the car behind the back seat please?

I have looked in car yards and wreckers for an example to get an idea but can't find one. If I knew how it attached I am quite sure I could modify the VX Blind and make an attachment mechanism.

The VX blind is within about 5 mms of fitting.

Hope you can help, and cheers to those who do.

On the side panel just behind the back seat should be a mounting insert for the blind..on models that did not have them the factory just put blank plugs in..Should be an easy job to modify..Good luck Terrence "White TF wagon"

The blind mount is a very neat design on the 3rd gens, nice quarter turn twist action to fit.
Well worth the $260 or so to buy whole thing from spareparts desk.

Since you already have parts to adapt, I took some piccies. Hope they help.

We all know what the blind looks like in...
Then we have what the end of the blind looks like...
And the adaptor the blind slots and twists into...
What does it look like when that adaptor is out?
And the back of the adaptor...
and if I've mixed them up and posted them in the wrong order sorry but you'll work it out.:)

I have one for sale.

Having had LPG fitted the cargo blind is of no use to me anymore.

PM me if want to.
