What happens when you try to rev it when you just start it?
Sounds like there is a problem with the ECU...
Do a search on the forums for " Stalling" its when you disconnect the battary the car needs to learn where to idle at. i did mine last night,, pain in the bum,,,, but there heaps of stuff on the fourm about it

Is it stalling in neutral?? or when you put it into Drive?
If it's stalling in neutral it sounds abit odd, and I don't know what the problem could be.
If it runs okay in neutral but stalls when in drive - then it's probably a symptom of the ECU trying to get its sh*t together after being disconnected. There are 2 things you can do about it:
* let the car idle for about 10mins in Neutral the first time you start it after disconnecting the battery (in my experience with an Auto TJII - the car never had a problem if I did this), or
* Drive it straight away - but accept that it might stall on you a couple of times. If you do this - it should all come good after about 30mins of driving anyway.

Isn't this just a case of the ECU needing to learn idle and the rest?
