Hi guys,

I've read all the posts about programming keyless entry remotes and get the jist of the turn from ACC to ON 3 times etc etc. I've even followed this to the letter from the manual. Problem is, the indicators dont flash and nothing actually happens.

I know it can be done cause I only paid for a remote and programming at a mitsu dealer a week ago but i'd rather know how to do it myself for certain.

I have an 03 series 2 TJ exec. Any help would be great.

Hey mate i just redid mine just then what you do is put the key in turn the key till right before it starts then back until it gets to the key lock (you only turn it about 1 cm dont push the key in otherwise you will go past the key lock part) do this 3 times (Including the time you inserted the key) and then both indicators will flash once only then press the Red button on the remote worked perfectly for me just then

I had to do mine last night after we redid the grounding in my car cos the battery was dissconnected.

as you have said, turn to on then off 3 times within 5 seconds but make sure you leave it in the onposition as the last click. push the buttons on your remote, should be done. dont worry if the indicators dont flash. mine didnt either, but it works now and it didnt before i did that

I got it sorted finally. Finally I have a spare key (ouch at cost) and a 2nd remote.
