Just wondering if anyone has a decibel metre that I could borrow.
Jaycar sell one but it only goes up to 130db and my systems higher than that!
I'm interested to see what my new system gets!!!
Also, I'm in South Australia.

go into an exhaust shop mate.
Might not be 100% accurate, but it will be very close !

very hard to find any that go over 120-130dB. i've got a small handheld one that goes to 120, but for tuning you dont even need over 110dB.
i'm pretty sure Tonkins in the city have a proper RTA that could measure up to 150dB?

The only meter worth testing on is a termlab... goto a dbdrag certified event.
At least then you know its accurate.
Otherwise different meters can read +/-10 db...
$300 will get you an SPLMeter meter, up to 150dB, powers off cig lighter and sticks onto window, lots of people are using these for test/tune purposes these days.
