i just seen this on the CAA forums, and thought anyone with a small interest in car audio would like to see this thing in action!
even if it failed, it was rediculously close to getting a higher readout than some world record dB cars! would have liked to see a little bit more work put into getting it to hold together and see wat it could really do!

and for those who cant stream or download the video, it pulled 160dB at 16Hz!!

Ya gotta love mythbusters. I watch em every mon night.
If they actually put some serious effort into the sub i recon they could easily take out the db drags anywhere. Imagin pullin up with a desiel motor instead of a amp lol

Yeh if they had have taken some time, maybe a few weeks to research the best compounds to use etc. they could easily make more. Kinda scary though that 180-190 dB will kill someone. Amazing they haven't created "sound weapons" yet. I guess they would need too much power to operate.
lol.. that yellow/green van rocked... :D
they have created sonic weapons :)

just did a bit of research and as far as i could tell, there indeed are "sonic weapons", but it hasnt ever been confirmed that any can be lethal?

Should have put it into a late model ford, the thing would have snapped in half...
