hi guys, im new here and just got a real spoiler for my TF, is anyone have any advice on how to do the paint job, my car is silver and any step should i do be4 start, thanks.

Your best bet would to get it pro done, however if you buy a can of auto paint in the right colour you could get away with it.
Sand it down first, then apply a coat of primer and allow to dry, then sand it back, then another coat of primer, leave it to dry, then 3 coats of what ever colour your car is, remeber, try not to put the paint on to thick, for best results do lots of thin coats (allowing them all to dry) then one or two coats of clear, then give it a good polish.
However if you have never done something like this before, take it to a painter.

Is it a flat-ish spoiler or does it have bends in it?
If it's fairly flat, you're probably looking between $100-$200 for a decent paint job. You might save $50-$100 doing it yourself, but i guarrentee it wont look as good.
