Hiyas
Just been investigating a cool suspension noise with J3RK... turned out to be a cool car audio noise instead :belt:
The sub box itself was installed (read as: fitted so it doesnt bounce around) by a certain shop (one of a large chain in australia).
We took a few quick videos to show the installation in action http://jake.press.id.au/20060819-wheee%20003.MOV
rogl... as you can see it doesnt bounce around _too_ much :)
They have mounted it using two elastic looking straps (bungee cords?)... any suggestions on another method of mounting :D
Perhaps ill just find some angle brackets and get a drill :fruitcake
Thoughts/Comments?

Thats ya best bet, that or valcro??? lots and lots of velcro??? or i know at supercheap instead of using bungee cords get the ones but with rubber....they hardly stretch....so see if you can get your hands on one of those may be better...

LMAO i can't believe they can call themselves audio installers, that doesn't look installed lol, some L brackets would do wonders for that, also it will make the output more defined and staging a whole lot better ( less movement from the box)
i personall havn't secured my box (will b with some l brackets and wing nuts so i can easily move when needed)
as my box is 170Lt, out of 20mm mdf doesn't get too move movement lol
show us a new movie when all is fixed

I think i need to build/buy a new box too/anyway.
The box i grabbed (from that same shop) is stuffed full of more dacron (sp?) than ive ever seen in a box :O
I built my last box and for the previous models of all my current gear .. and sounded 10x better... i have a feeling this install is lacking 10-20 real L.
