Can anyone where the crank lines up on the 6g74, there is a dot on the timing belt pulley but I can't seem to see where it lines up on the engine, does it line up to the crank angle sensor?? HEEEEEELP

Don't know whether this will help.

On the 6G72 the mark is on the plastic cover that goes over the belt.

Crazy isn't it. You'd think there would alsobe a mark for when you have the cover off.

Yeah, understand that but there must also be a place on the engine that marks where the belt pulley lines up. there is one on each of the cam gears but I can not locate the one for the crank. Very frustrated here!!!!!! Thanks anyway.

If I could just select the 3 pages I need in adobe acrobat I wouldnt have a problem.
Its insisting on selecting the whole section for engine overhaul including timing.

Hows yur adobe acrobat knowledge?:D

I can send it to yur hotmail addy if it will take it.

Not Good, unfortunately. Perhaps you could just tell me, where does it say that the crank need to be lined up to? is it on the timing cover or a mark on the oil pump? I do appreciate your help
