I know there has been some discussion about coloured globes in place of the "vague off white/yellowish colour " of the standard units:doubt:

I saw somewhere that someone had tried blue ones with some success, but I have never seen green ones before, I prefer green to white, it has a more quality look about it and is kinder on the eyes.

If anyone has tried the coloured globes did it actually look properly back lit, got any photos?
And where do you get them?

Some people say the standards are already green, but I would describe them as off white or slightly green, but I want Green like a VX/VY commodore but I think they are back lit and the colour is in the instrument skin and not the globe.
