Well i tried it cause the bar was free.

And if you want to know how it looked...

How does the word "tugboat" sit with you? the damn thing liiked like id added a ramming prow!!! it came 20mm short of the wheel arches, sat 10mm in below the headlights and left a whopping 30mm gap between the grille and the edge of the bar. basicly... totaly rooted.

Anyone who has seen my car can attest to the fact that it is pretty rough bodywise, so essentialy i had/have very little to loose. im trying this with any free bumper i can get my greasy mits on that looks like it might fit lol.

well i knew there would be some differences, but i figured if I could get it close enough i could get a plastic welder to touch it up where it wasnt right.

the only way it would work is with a full 3rd gen face transplant...

And no there will be no pics cause it was a pisser to get the 2nd gen bar back on. im NOT doing that agin for anything less than a sucessful fit.

as above, get me the donor parts and ill try it.

Im being cheap because if i wanted to spend money id just buy a jdm front or lexus ls 400 front bar because i know one will work, and the second apparently isnt hard.
