I figurred I mite hafta do some painting:cry:
I did the magna badge by sticking some reflective tape to it and cutting it out with a fine scalpel:doubt:
It looks great from a distance, from a distance......up close
The ELITE badge uses finer text as well so I gave up on that idea.
I just need some more to experiment with, unless someone got theirs off b4 it faded

...You could always get some of that custom lettering from one of the online auto places, they make cool badges for all models, i took my mums chrome Mitsubishi badge off the back of her Xi Verada, lol looks a treat. And the old Magna one i repainted myself and its internal trim now.

Get some crappy badges, lightly sand the faded silver off them, get one of them textas that have silver ink and carefully put an even coat on them.
Then clear coat if necessary.
Done. 5 Mins, 10 Max.

Have you tried ringing a dealer in SA as I think you'll find that certain dealers are a little more connected to the factory warehouse stores than others. I'd reccomend giving a dealer like Southland Mitsubishi a call in Adelaide. They are just down the road from the factory. I can vouch that in the past on an old bomb Starion I had they were able to obtain new rare parts that other dealers either couldn't get or wern't interested in getting.
Trust me, they'd still have them in stock. You just need to find the right people to ask. I've discovered that Mitsi have a hidden treasure cave of rare and sought after parts. For some reason, they don't let people at 'em.
