hey ppl i have just bought a tp carbie model magna for work and it was running beautiful for a few weeks then all went down hill from there...

started to cut out all the time and couldnt get it to keep the same rev, so took it to a mechanic replaced leads, plugs, dizzy cap, fuel filter etc...

did all that and the car ran fine then on friday on way home it died at a set of lights and kept doin it

got it home (at night lol) and found that the coil was throwing spark from one side of the coil to the other. so i replaced it now car starts the dies straight away

so i checked fuel pump works fine getting heaps of fuel, timing is right but cant seem to work out whats going on

i cant get the car looked at till tomorrow and i need it to get to work tomorrow (story of my life lol)

PLEASE HELP IM DESPRITE

thanks in advance

You sure you hooked up the coil the right way around? :)

how does it get hooked up

if your tp is an auto the TPS may need adjusting and check the 02 sensor in the manifold
a clogged catalytic converter cant be ruled out

oh look I have a carby dissy for sale how about that

Go Buffy....lol :D
