The speed alert in my car has been playing in the last couple days.

It wont turn off and u cant change the speed its set to so when u go over that speed the numbers flash and it just keeps beeping.

I thought that if i disconnected the battery for a bit that it would fix it but it hasnt done nething.

Does anyone know what could be wrong with it.

When its working properly it beaps twice when u hit the selected speed, now it flashes and beeps constantly until u go below the set speed.

That is weird.. try pulling the outer surround of the cluster off where the speed alert buttons are, disconnect the switch and reconnect it.. could be a contact on the wiring or something

yeah, we've discovered the super secret NAG mode... :doubt:

VE commode is even worse... the speedalert is linked to the GPS & GSM
and if its a fleet car it will record every overspeed & everytime the car is used
and report all the data back to base via Telstra GSM... to your boss
