Hey all.

I need a wheel alignment and I was wondering what sort of settings I should be asking for. I know if I take it in to Pedders or similar they will probably just look up TJ Magna in their computer and dial in whatever standard settings they have, which probably won't work so well with my setup.

I'm currently on Lovell Lows with standard shocks and 18x8 w/ 235/40r18's rims/tyres.

I just called the place that lowered my car 18 months ago, and the alignment guy gave me the following...

Front
Camber .5° to 1° -ve
Toe 1.5 to 2mm IN
Rear
Camber 1° to 1.5° -ve
Toe 2mm IN

Can anyone confirm that this is a good setup for my car?

Cheers,
.wook

Sounds good to me.

Your profile didn't indicate you had camber shims in the rear or camber pins in the front. (Or adjustable strut tops.)

The camber alignment can't be changed without these.

Although with Lovell lows your camber settings will be approx what you've just mentioned.

Thanks guys. I don't have anything different from standard except for the lower springs... so the camber isn't adjustable.

these are the only ppl i dont hesitate to take my magna to. they have always treated it good even when i first when there cos a dodgy mechanic had stuffed my ball joints and control arms. so i turned up with my suspenion springs jumping out of the struts and bent control arms and all, they fixed all his mistakes and did a 4 wheel alingment on this computer table of there's. then u get 2 print out at the end , no.1 was to say what they did or fixed on the car and the other one tells u what ur alingment was when it first got there then what it is after they have adjusted it. now a 4 wheel alingment(toe in-out,camber and castor).
this is an example of there wheel alingment printout

oh and they are australia wide.
