Hmmm black car same prob!!!
I went to check out the smash repairers that we used to use the other day and they have closed - bugger as they used to do a really good job at a good price - my best mate is a panel beater though so he is going to see what he can find out for me...
In the meantime there is stuff called SCRATCH X which is made by Meguiars - it does not remove scratches just hies them really well and even with the black car as long as they are not too deep it does hide them well so as a short term fix try that...

well to remove the scratches have the car externally detailed. a good cut and polish will get rid of whatever is removable without a resrpay. The dents its impossible to suggest anything without knowing where they are, size, type of dent. May be able to massage it out otherwise need some bog/respray or replacement.

For minor dents try using dry ice.
Grab a tennis-ball size ball of dry ice and just apply it to the outside of the dent
and the frozen metal will shrink, quite often it'll pop out the dent after a few tries.
Careful not to frostbite your fingers...
If you haven't got any friends in the icecream business you can buy dryice
from BOC gas outlets - yeah same place where you buy MIG welding supplies.
Only a few $ a kg, BYO esky and don't put the esky in your car cabin driving home.

what stuped said..:P
Id be ring a few dent removal places and asking them to give you a quote on removing them..
The average dent will cost $40-100 to remove unless its been done by a baseball bat..:P
Also the cheapest quote isnt always the best.. Deal with the bloke you feel mor ecomfortable with and yo uwill think will do a good job..:)
Do not go through a panel shop unless they give you the dent guys number.. They will only get them to come out and slug you as they are themiddle man..
