Hey everyone,

Tried searching but cant find the exact thing I need.

After looking in the workshop manual, I still cant pinpoint the best way to get to the ECU, im aware it sits in the passenger footwell on the left side but to access it do you pull the trim pieces off and it is right in front of you?
Also what colour is the ignition wire? (sorry for newbieness, just dont wanna rip everything apart without really knowing what im doing.)

Also, has anyone got an aftermarket ECU in their second gen? If so, what do you have and how does it differ from standard?

Thats pretty much it. The book says remove the glove box as well but I think thats just so that you can take the whole thing out.

When you say Ignition Wire, what exactly are you after and trying to do?

It for a kill switch mod. Need to tap into and cut the circuit of the ignition wire.

There should be 2 wires running into the ECU

The start/run wire which should be Black with a white stripe,
and the start wire which should be black with a yellow stripe in an auto car.
In the manuals its either black with a yellow stripe or black with a blue stripe.

Always be careful when fiddling with ECU wiring, mmkay..:D
