After having hassles with a fuse today i've had to check out which does what..
I have a question that isn't answered in the manual..
In the engine bay fuse box on my TJ wagon there is a foglight fuse but no relay - does everyone have this?
Also.. There are two fan relays (going by the picture on the cover) but only one is actually installed?
Is something missing? What is the second fan relay?
Thanks..
Chris.

not sure about the 2 relays in the TE however in general if there are all the pins installed in the socket for the missing relay you can pretty much assume it should be there.
I know my KR has 2 fan relays, one is heat actuated and the othere is air con actuated.

The pins are there.. just no relay...
The fog light doesn't concern me as the car doesn't actually have it installed (however the fuse is there just no relay).. The other missing one is a "Radiator Fan Relay (MI)".. Whatever that is...
The other fan relay that is there is a (HI).. Medium/Middle? and High?
I wonder if anyone else has one missing?
Thanks
Chris.
having a fuse, no relay and no lights could just mean that somones put a fuse in because they think there should be one, but there shouldnt. Mine has a fuse for power doors and ariel, but i dont know them (well i have after market door locks)

G day Chris,
You should only have only 2 relays rad fan lo and hi, only the verada has 3 Rad fan lo, med and hi.
Go to page 8 on the Cd for TJ as TH is different there's a layout of the relays, you want A22X and A27X. A26X is only in the Verada.
Looking thru the Wiring Diagrams (WD) page 22 and 23 you can see the difference. After looking at the WD it has me stuffed why its there, all it does when energised is make the circuit electrically the same as the 2 relay circuit.
As for the fog light fuse it wont have any power on it as it is fed from the fog light relay. Make a good spare, mine's got one but I didn't put it there it looks as dirty as all the rest, I guess the fuse fitter at mitsu thinks we all got fogs I WISH. WD page 36
Hope this helps

Thanks Phil,
Thanks for that.. Helps heaps!!!! Still learning to read the bloody thing...
It seems strange the way mitsu put's these thing together... I wonder how much of the wiring harness is in place for the fogs...
Do you have a side clip on fush holder attachment on the side of your drivers fuse box (the one under the dash) containing a single 20amp fuse? I figure it is stock and can't work out what it is.. When unplugged everything still seems to work ok...
Oh.. one other thing I was going to ask you.. do you have a battery cover installed? Was reading the manual and it makes mention of some cover over the battery - news to me.. Mine is sitting in a plastic bucket looking thing..
Thanks.
Chris.
