Hey guys,
I was havaing a little bit of a problem and was wondering if anyone could help me out.
I was driving home the other day from uni. The sun was amost gor at about 6ish so i decidid to turn my head light on only to find a have no speedo, tacho and centre console lights working. When i got home i checked all the fuses but the were all fine.
I then decided to replaces all the fuses just for the heck of it. I dont think the fuse problem is fuse related maybe its a wiring problem. I havent installed anything in my car lately, im just stumpped as to what is could be.
Any help would be much appreciated. Id take it to an auto elec...if i had the money. Like i said im at uni...
Cheers guys

There's more than 1 globe though, it would have to be a pretty darn good co-incidence that they all blew at the same time, unless of course they've been blowing and you haven't realised? Have you tried simple things like adjusting the dimmer switch? It does sound fuse related though.

Yeah adjust the dimmer. If is not that, then my guess is the actual connection just in front of the cluster. Remove the black bit with speed alarm buttons and light dimmer, by undoing the screws and hoiking it out. Then check the connection to the light dimmer is right. If it isn't, the lights inside just all go out.

Yeah that would be the problem, it probably over heated or something and warped the plastic, don't know how, maybe some else could shed some light on it?
And $111 **** that, definately go to a wrecker, you could probably pick up that little black platic cover part (where the connection to the dimmer is) for as little as $20

If your low on money you could hard wire it, will still work but you'll lose the dimmer function, just make sure you put a 15amp line fuse on the power line to the dimmer, in case she wants to blow again.
