hey guys, just after some opinions on what i should do to my car. 2003 Magna Sports AWD, i've just done all the sound. unfortunately i can't get a kit cos it'll scrape as i'm going up my driveway (exhaust tip just touches it already!). Also is there any diff between ei and xi grilles, i rang up mitsu the other day and they said it's 180 for an ei and 230 for xi??? Should i get a verada one or just DIY? don't wanna spend heaps at the moment, got about 3-4k to spare.

Depends entirely on what you want. Performance or looks or both? There's litterally thousands of threads covering performance and looks, just need to search.

i'd hit up some noice rims and possably summin like colour code everything and dark tint (i'd go for looks myself)

Yeh go for looks mate as 3-4k wont get you big gains in an AWD performance wise!!

as above get nice rims and then go from there!!
as for the grill, you could just DIY, just replace it with some nice mesh or something along those lines!! if not go the later model verada grill through mitsu!!

extractors, zorst bout 1k
K&N filter panal or pod and CAI bout $200

and then maybe go nuts with after market ECU or even a piggyback and cams port and polish or wat not and you will get some good gains.

or save that 4k for now save up an extra 3k and get supercharged and get bout 190KW+ atw

if you want looks and handling performance id go with race spec coilovers 2k and some nice not so over the top rims and that will get your car looking all nice and dumped or wat ever height you desire

you could get the extractors & zorst and K&N panel for about $1300 or a little bit more, most likely more. and with the rest you could go port & polish, or some aftermarket cams & ECU upgrade, but if you wanna go performance save up your pennys and go with forced induction either Supercharge or Turbocharge wil provide good bang for ya buck!!

but as i said this costs a lot of money, go with the looks first, everyone wants a head turner!! lol

sprintex had a AWD putting out 255kw which i guess would be at the engine so im guessing high 190's low 200 kw atw. thats heaps and on a AWD traction from the word go thats pretty good.

Just the Supercharger.

Stock they are 155kW.

Don't get too carried away tho. It still only ran a 15.1 quarter mile.

cool thanks heaps guys, yeh i'll prolly go k&n filter, extractors and exhaust and some rims with diy grille (maybe verada one depending on how much i got left).
