Thinking about changing frill... seen other threads and want an idea on if you think should leave the black stock one on with the car being black or if it would look ok with chrome? And then can I get maybe a verada one to fit the TJ as I am not handy enough for the DIY mesh job!

Ideas?

everyone know bacl cars with chrome is bling :D and will always look good unless u go overboard with alot of chrome

as long as it is not over done chrome on a black car is sweet.
it is what i am aiming for, something that stands out but not over done.
chrome grill on yours its bound to look sweet.

What colours go well with fire red? I'm working on a custom grill atm but not sure if chrome will suit the car.

yeah chrome definately for black, or even a satin silver finish if you dont want it too bling-bling :D

as for red, chrome can work in small amounts, otherwise gloss black looks tough!

Has anybody ever tried to find these at the wreckers? They are like hens teeth, as are KH XI Grilles.

Though i do agree even for a brand new grille he got stooged. Last time i checked they were $165 including GST.

s.u paul i was right next to jolly rongers but getting a brand new Chrome KJ Xi Verada Grill
u would't be able to get at any wreckers, u would searching for days for it, and not i'm fusssed about price either. I 1st went to Dandenong Mitz i ask them 1st they said $213 and i'm noit no F** way, then i called allan then he told me about Preston Motor so i went ther to get my new sexc grill i know i got stoged me with the price, this girll used to be $165 quoting from Allan by now its getting really popular so the price has gone up, it will be on car by this friday.

hey guys , as you all know i just got my Verada KJ XI chrome grill finally i was about to install it this afternoon but a few problems and they were these plastic screws is there a quick way to get these out, it look really easy to install this mod its just these dam screws, thanks

screwdriver? tired that but they don't come out they just span around.

I think you gotta press lightly coz they are screws that are put in by pushing down to click it... failing that... you have about 600 all over your car... OR
Snap em n try a good boot to the centre to fit "snuggly" in place

They should just pop out, try pushing them out from the bottom with your fingers.

Drill them out and buy a new pack its like 5 bucks for 20.
