if its an auto, get a manual conversion first :D
especially if you can get it as cheap as some people around here have!
other than that, magnas respond really well to the usual exhaust/intake mods, with some mild head and cam work they can go pretty damn hard!
what sort of budget you looking at?
welcome to the forums :D feel free to use the search function as theres plenty of useful crap hidden away too

Welcome!!!
Ok my suggestion... get an exhaust system done - 2.5 cat back and then maybe extractors at the same time most places will do you a good deal if you get both done together...
Then maybe look at your air intake and do a CAI for K & N filter or something...
If it is stock I would spend some cash and get suspension done too :D
Once you start the list is endless.... turbo/supercharge ???

Yeah I'd say get some extractors
ive just bought a TE that already had pacemakers and a Lukey ultra flow muffler
i havent done anything else to but it sounds real good and it only cost about 700 for the extractors
if money is no limit then go the works!!!

18's or 19's is more a personal choice thing. Pros and cons for both...?
Pros 18's: Better handling for your car, cheaper rubber, more range of tyres.
Cons 18's: Not quite as big.
Pros 19's: Nice and big, look good.
Cons 19's: Expensive rubber, limit range of legal tyres.
I mean, personally I got 18's because they handle better, there's more legal rubber available to me, and that rubber is a lot cheaper. I just found the prospect of having 19's impractical. But, in the end it's personal choice.
As for cam work, there are probably some guys on here who can help more in that department, but check out www.rpw.com.au, they do cam packages I believe.

getting n/a power is going to be the same as any other car, difference being is that theres nothing really off the shelf for a magna cept for RPW
www.rpw.com.au have a heap of stuff, and street torque (do they have a website?) know a thing or 2 about modding a magna for more power
theres also a couple of N/A boys making good power on here that would be able to help, JasonsVRX and cthulu come to mind
basically
intake - pod or panel filter, bigger throttle body, dual throttle body setup, intake plenum
exhaust - extractors, new pipe work, cat, straight thru muffler
cams - can get from RPW or custom regrinds made up, if u go wild on cams then get cam gears and valve springs too
headwork - speaks for itself
chip - piggyback will be fine, but if u want a dual throttle body setup or do more wild stuff then a full replacement is needed
now if u do that u will have some good power, and being a manual magna owner u will understand how easy it is to light up the fronts... well one of the fronts lol u will need to consider suspension work and an LSD and some good rubbers to put that power to any good use
good luck to u sounds like ur gunna have some fun

also i would debadge it (make sure you heat the glue first so that u dont remove the clear coat) and put a K&N filter or somethin like that
