Hi guys, new to the forum, so please be gentle. I was thinkning of debadging my TE silver sedan, then lowering it, I have looked at lowering on the forum and have decided that superlows on the front and lows on the back seem to be the way to go.

As for exhaust, I dont want something thats going to rattle the windows, but something that sounds smooth deep and purrs. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Now for debadging, is there anything such as little tricks I should know??? ei: best way to get badges of and cleaning up afterwards??

Any advice that you can give would be greatly accepted.

regards Flog

Best advice i can give is .. Use the search button.

All the above questions have been answered at least 20 times each.

Exhaust options: Lukey, Redback, Magnaflow, X-Flow.. Plenty out there to chose from.

Debadging: Fishing wire or floss - hold it like a garrote and use a slicing motion behind the badges., tea tree oil to remove glue and gunk. Buff after you're done.

P.S Welcome to AMC. Hope you can join your respective state in some cruises :)

Are you lowering it for looks or lowering it for performance?
Looks - Go superlow front, low rears.
Performance - lows all round.

With the exhaust, if you're just after sound i recommend just replacing your stock muffler with a straight through, should see a little gain and it will sound nice (but wont drone, unless you get a cannon :P).
Bain covered the debadging :).

The Redback exhaust has some great feedback, check out some existing threads (Search).

Will set you back about $400-$500 including installation, but definitely worth it for the different note and something like an 8kw gain ATW.

When debadging use fishing line and with the glue left behind i used degreaser and a towel or rag and wiped it away, the degreaser removes any hell sticky **** left behind. i just did it to my KE
As for lowering if u put superlows on the front you'll hav to remove your mudflaps which i did, no biggie.
if u do both of these then your car will look good
