Just wondering if those of you who have the RPW race spec headers could post a (clear) pic of how low, or close the headers are to the ground. Expecially interested in the AWD race headers, but just wondering about ground clearance issues. The time has come to buy, especially now they seem to be on special.

Infact post up or email me some general pics of these headers as would like to see how neat they look in the engine bay as well.

Cheers in advance fellas.

Hey Craig,
Did you see the post by boost on the specs of Ralliart AWD magna's used in rallies? Was in the last couple of weeks. He said the team used HM headers - best overall header for that job. Can still be bought too

I have RPW/liverpool race headres in my AWD they needed to be modifeid to fit on my KL. The flex pipe after the collector sit fairly low. The longer primaries on the race definitely add to the low down torque. Just make sure the flex pipe is of the double braid variety.

Now that is interesting, as the mechanics I know at MMAL all say that the ralliart headers are only good for 1kw. But then MMAL only used the primary part of the HM setup, and used a Walker (NAS) secondary. Was going to get the RPW ones now I am not sure. ARH ARH ARH. Decisions, decisions, frustrations, frustrations

I would still go the RPW/Liverpool. With the flex pipe now fixed the system sounds awesome and the low down torque is good.

I have RPW race spec extractors on my TJ. The lowest point is the rear header which is 110mm above the ground. Note my Magna is lowered about 30mm. The AWD ones may be slightly different.
