Got a clarion given to me wired it up works for say 1 min then cuts out so i unpluged it waited for it to cool off pluged it in turned acc on and within 5 secs i touched back of deck and it was to hot to touch. rang a mate and he asked me if it was common grounded wich i think is when one speakers ground is connected to another? so i gunna rewire car 2morow unless someone can sudgest something better?

ill say that there is something that is making the deck overheat quickly. are you sure that the deck was working before you got it as there might be a fault in the deck itself. also check the wiring cause if it is wired up wrong it will cause the deck to over heat

hey dude. yes please check that all your wiring is up to scratch. if it is and the problem still procists i would check in side the deck to make sure everything is in tact. also check all fuses , compasiters, resisters ect. if problems is still continuing i would get it fixed (if it is worth it) and then it should be all sweet . if you have any questions car audio related feel free to ask me

im thinking its speaker related possibly cause when i turn car to acc speaker make a noise with out deck on deck plays but no sound on cd or fm and still over heating i just ran 2 seprate grounds for the speaker so i duno whats up with it gettin mate who i got it off to put it in i cant be bothered anymore with it.
