Hey all, on the 28th of september Willowbank raceway is holding the seven 2 eleven event, which MM06 is going to. I've just checked and it's under ANDRA rules and they state "No open exhausts" which I'm guessing is because it's till so late 11pm.

Well I have'nt got a rear muffler on my car, just 2.5" pipe, cat conver and factory hotdog. Does this mean I'm not able to enter my car or does it mean dropped at the cat sort of thing?

Thanks, Mat

Pretty sure the 7-11 meets are designed to be for street cars only, and that open exhaust means no exhaust, so yeah - dropped at the cat (or before the cat) which would make the car non streetable.

Even though you have no rear muffler, i wouldn't worry about it. it doesn't sound loud enough to be noticable.

It is just like in drag racers where it doesn't go through any sort of muffler system. They just have huge pipes bleeding it straight into the atmosphere. Highly illegal. :P
