tonight whilst coming home from work, i find my usual chicane before my house that i like to hammer through

please tell me what happened to my car, it basically shut down on me whilst i had my foot flat to the floor :rant: then as i was fully straightening up it kicked in again, i popped a skid woo!:cool: , but i know that this isnt natural, help?

How much fuel do u have? lol... if u had less than 1/4, it's possible the angle of the car caused a shortage of fuel.

I've had this MANY times..

Yeah good point.. if it wasnt traction then it was the fuel..

its definate fuel, if ya goin fast enough and turn hard enough all fuel goes to one side of tank. no fuel makes engine cut out. happens to me all the time goin thru S bends.

Traction and/or trace control.

Fuel pressure in fuel lines and amount of fuel in fuel rail means fuel delivery not affected by fuel momentarily moving away from pickup in tank while cornering or braking.

Sounds like fuel pickup to me, even in the Ralliart with a baffled fuel tank you can't drive it to it's full cornering potential when u have less than 1/4 of a tank...on the track that is...

10 out of 10 for the drawing lol. Fuel starvation is annoying, esp. when you take dealer cars out for a test drive, take a corner too hard and the car conks out :roll:.

yep i did have less than a quarter of a tank, gee thanks guys i better go fill her up and enjoy the corner again
