Have just got these in care of clarionmagna. If the pic is bad there are cams, cam gears and thermo gaskets, emanage and cables. Emanage looks brand new, and all parts were packed well(thanksCM). I hope to have these fitted by the end of the month (before mm06). I am waiting on availability of a catback system with a metal cat. As soon as that's done it will be time to put these in. i hope to have all the dyno read outs to post up. Cheers.

How much did all this set you back?

Also, regarding the cams & gears, I have a set of Ralliart cams in my bedroom, if I whack these in my current engine, I dont require new cam gears do I?

AFAIK, the cam gears are upgraded (around stage 1) cam gears and the cams are (stage 1ish) cams... they can be used seperately but better results from both... but i may be wrong.

Cam heads are for better combustion etc... gears are for drivetrain.. can someone confirm?

What the hell are you on about??

Upgraded cams effect the opening / closing of the inlet and outlet valves, generally they increase the duration that the valves are open for in relation to the intake stroke, the longer the valves are open (and to an extent, the amount of "valve overlap") effect the amount of air that the engine can draw in on each stroke.

Cam gears allow you to easily advance or retard cam timing in relation to crank timing, and I'm pretty sure are important in fine tuning "grumpy" or agressive cams. Nothing to do with the drivetrain
